How to Play Chess Online

Click Play in the main menu and choose whether you want to play online, against the computer, or with a friend. To make a move, click on one of your chess pieces and then click on the square where you want to move it.

The objective is to checkmate your opponent's king before they can checkmate yours. Depending on the selected game mode, you may also need to win the game before your time runs out.

Customize Your Chess Board

Make the game your own by changing the appearance of the chess pieces and board. Open the Themes section and choose your preferred options under Shape Type and Board Type.
